Julia Barfield and Robert Webb, CEO of Quietrevolution, held a talk on 4th April at the Building Centre where they presented the Beacon to a packed uot audience.
The talk titled, Power in the City, focused on clean renewable energy generated in the city, where it is needed.
Designed to be located in roundabouts, along major roads and other appropriate areas of the urban realm, the Beacon’s Y-shaped structure harnesses wind energy from above the city’s rooftops.
