London Architecture Festival 08: Guided Tour of Kew's Tree Top Walkway

As part of the London Festival of Architecture 08 Marks Barfield is giving a guided tour of our latest project, the tree top walkway at Kew Gardens.  We are running the event with other practices presently working at Kew to give a guided tour of contemporary architecture currently on site.

The tour will present a mix of completed buildings and on site projects, and will encompass the following:

Herbarium and Library Wing – Edward Cullinan Architects
Rhizotron and Xstrata Treetop Walkway – Marks Barfield
The Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art – Walters and Cohen
Alpine House – Wilkinson Eyre
Jodrell Laboratory Extension – Wilkinson Eyre 

As aprt of the tour Julia Barfield will take guests 18m high into the tree canopy for a tour of the tree top walkway and rhizotron.
