Sustainability is based on a triple bottom line of economic, social and environmental impact. We aim to research and propose design solutions that find a positive balance between these three impacts and in so doing, offer best value to the client and the community.
Marks Barfield has received ISO 14001 accreditation. This accreditation highlights our commitment to sustainability in both the way we perform in the office and throughout the lifetime of our projects.

We have demonstrated our commitment and credibility in developing successful projects within communities through landmark projects such as the London Eye. We have also demonstrated our vision through our Skyhouse design concept, which has interrogated and re-interpreted high rise living, as well as through the development of the Beacon (see left), a visionary new form of urban energy generation. It is a combination of our experience and strategic vision that we wish to develop and incorporate in each new project and with each individual client.
